swirling waters

 the recent rains and snows have the waters swirling
rushing over the stones
creating white water areas
satin stitched
with couched threads under the surface turmoil

they will flow and swirl
across the bottom of the
indigo dragon cloth

      I am having fun with it. I had never done any couching before, but I really like it. Have always liked swirls and curlicues. Thought they would be a good foil for the geometric weaving up top...have some curvy plans for there too. : D

    I love the swirls and curliques....reminds me of 'art deco' and also japanese art. Lovely for the bottom of your cloth!
